• Category Enhancements Make It Simpler to Find the How-Tos You Want!

  With our new category pages, you can simply click on the "Categories" button at the top of the home page to browse related videos. Narrow your search even further by scrolling over the navigation bar on the left of the screen to see the most popular related video content in that category.

• Howcast for Android

  Howcast for Android shows you fun, useful how-to videos on your Android phone. With the Howcast app, you can search for specific how-to videos, browse our categories, and watch videos using our innovative step-by-step Howcast video player. Miss something in a video? You can simply jump to a specific step to watch again. Each day, we add new, relevant videos for you to watch and share with your friends.

• Creating How-To Videos and Guides just got easier

  We've combined how-to videos and text guides into a single item: the "How-To". Since video, text, and images are all useful, video and text for a How-To appear on the same page. If a How-To has included images, you can view a slide show. The video player has been updated with some shiny new features, including more prominent zoom and slow-motion controls, an improved embed code menu, and an HD toggle.

  We've also streamlined the process for creating a How-To: you can add step-by-step instructions, upload video, and add images, all from the same creation page. The new creation page automatically creates new steps for you as you type and lets you attach an image to each step. If you want to slice and dice all the content on Howcast, check out the Videos & Guides tab, which shows you all the How-To's on Howcast.
