Role
Post-production interns will draw on and further develop a strong foundation in Final Cut Pro creating assets and managing media. Responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with both Howcast Studios filmmakers and members of our Emerging Filmmakers Program to find solutions to editing challenges
- Polishing technical elements behind the scenes (transitions, text, etc.) before videos go live on the site
- Working across multiple video formats to prepare Howcast content for our distribution partners
Opportunities to take on more creative projects in shooting, editing, and/or design as time and interest will allow.
Skills
- Knowledge of Final Cut Pro (PC-based editing programs like Adobe Premiere a plus)
- Keen attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain a sense of humor in a busy media production company setting
