The Best of 2009
What better way to close out 2009 than to look back fondly at all the amazing videos we produced this year? Check out our Top 9 of '09 lists in four categories: Coolest, Funniest, Sexiest, and Trendiest. From wowza animation and spot-on comedic timing, to innovative topics and smokin' hot bods, we gotta say, we did good. Judging by the unbelievable talent we get to work with here at Howcast, 2010 is going to be most excellent.
Coolest
Be it a zinger topic (the finer points of using a public toilet), a straightforward recipe transformed into something incredibly imaginative (our Emerging Filmmakers Program contest winner), or animation worthy of some serious recognition, these all made us think, dang, we're cool!
Funniest
We couldn't stop laughing out loud at these picks – the horrible clothes your parents picked out, our strange obsession with bananas, one of our filmmakers cutting a rug in a tank top and sweatband...and who doesn't think gas is funny? No one, that's who. No one.
Sexiest
You might want to watch these sizzlers in the privacy of your own home, unless you relish the idea of sweating over your desk in front of coworkers. Skinny-dipping and chicks in bikinis – hot. Forbidden office trysts – hot. Wait, spring cleaning? Trust us: hot.
Trendiest
These videos all captured the zeitgeist in some way: the tough economy, the thirst for all things Harry Potter, our buff First Lady, and 2009's breakout social media darling, not to mention breakout illness. Swine: so '09.
